"Massive thank you for such a mindblowing experience, I drove a beautiful black Lamborghini at Elvington on Saturday and loved every second. 

My instructor was excellent and did a great job of guiding me round the course, it was much harder than I thought it would be and I was surprised when he kept telling me to go faster!! 

The adrenaline rush stayed with me the rest of the day and driving my Golf afterwards seemed a bit of a let down.  I’m going to start saving up now!! 

We were very impressed with the way the whole thing was organized, and I will definitely keep you in mind for future gift ideas.

"Just came back from an excellent day at Elvington. The Ferrari vs Porsche experience was amazing and the professionally driven thrill laps are truely breath-taking. Whilst it's great fun to drive yourself under their tuition, it's in the hands of their drivers when you really get to see what these cars are capable of!! We all had a fantastic time, and so did everyone else there judging from the smiling faces. We found the staff very helpful, the experience was astounding and the whole day very enjoyable. In fact they even managed to accommodate people paying on the day to drive or be driven, which is pretty good organisation. PS. Definitely recommend the high-speed ride in the subaru impreza at the end of the day! If you're thinking of booking... Go ahead, you'll have a fantastic time. "

"Attended the Drivers Dream Day experience at Elvington airfield near York on sat 18th October I drove a Ferrari 360 Modena and a Lamborghini Gallardo , both of which I was allowed to work quite hard and reached speeds of over 130 mph under the expert guidance of the Instructors , the organisation was very quick and after a familiarisation lap I only waited approx 15 mins for the Ferrari Drive then the same for the Drive in The Lamborghini , I have read other reviews on the internet and as a Professional Driving Standards Agency Approved Driving Instructor Grade 5 I can only say that the in car instruction was excellent and enabled you to get the most out of the car in the 3 laps allocated . i purchased 10 photos on disc and one printed in a frame at the end of the experience for a not too expensive £25.00 , There were over 280 people in attendance and the cars were well presented and as advertised .The optional £25.00 waiver was not forced or hard sold to me yet I was made aware of the risks involved and told that i could change my mind after the familiarisation drive , I opted not to purchase the waiver as the track was very dry and the weather was sunny and dry , on well heated tyres I thought nthere would be little chance of spinning off , particularly under instruction . If the weather had been wet I may well have opted for the waiver . On site catering was available and toilet facilities were good , all in all my experience was excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend drivers dream days , thankyou."

"Wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who made my Ultimate Supercar experience so fantastic! It was a wonderful 40th birthday present to receive, and I transformed from a somewhat nervous wreck at the beginning of the day, into a speed adrenaline junkie, clinching 3rd place overall, much to my surprise and most of the guys there who were stunned!The instructors were truly amazing, and having put my total trust in them and listened carefully to all the instructions I really got the most out of the cars and improved my skill level. 

A thoroughly fabulous day that I will be recommending to all my friends and I will certainly be trying another one of the car experiences at some time, probably the Aston next time as I kept overtaking them (must have been the weight of the golf clubs in the boot!) 

We just need more women to do these things, so do let me know if you run women only days

"We booked at Bruntingthorpe as we live in Leicester had a Brilliant day no infact it was better than that it was Fantastic !!After our exp was over I paid the additional amount to drive some of the other vehicles that were on offer. So I had to opt to go in the Audi R8, and x2 Porsche also went in the Aston Martin again even paid for the wife to be driven around the track by one of the drivers - She was a little pale to say the least on her return from the track ..........

All Staff were very friendly and helpful and would happily recomend Drivers Dream Days to anyone."

"Had a reeeeaaaaaaally good day at Bruntingthorpe thanks, and we came right up trumps with the weather, though no sunburn for me!
Only downer was how quickly the Lamborghini laps flew by- could easily have spent all day 'pootling about'.... oh, and there was far too many
other tempting stuff there loading up my credit card. Managed to restrain myself to the Ultima in the end, which was awesome. Highly recommend
it if you haven't had a ride already.

Me and my mate have both promised to try to make the day an annual event, so I'll be in touch some time next year for a re-run! :-)

"I would just like to thank you and all your staff at Bruntingthorpe on Saturday for making my son's 18th Birthday treat a truly memorable occasion.  From the moment we arrived, your hospitality staff were most welcoming and friendly.  My son freely admitted to being somewhat nervous, but was immediately put at ease by your instructors who were the epitome of relaxation and friendliness.  Despite it being the hottest day of the year so far, there was nothing but smiles and a willingness to help.  As for the driving itself, my son James clearly improved through his laps, and it would be a huge understatement to say that he thoroughly enjoyed himself!  Both these factors are due entirely to the professionalism of your drivers.  I cannot say how my son feels now, but personally, I am still buzzing from the day, and I didn't even drive a car! 
Overall, a huge thanks once again to all.  My entire family had a very enjoyable day that we will all remember for life.  Indeed, my 12 year old daughter wants me to book her '18th' day right now! "

FERRARI EXPERIENCE

I  booked to go to Elvington on 18^th Oct 2008 for the Lamborghini v Ferrari challenge . I have some experience of the motor Industry and general business practice and professionalism etc after running a Driving School as a Driving Standards’ Agency Approved Driving Instructor for the previous 14 years. I booked a B7B at York for the Fri and sat night as I wanted to make a weekend out of it , and what a weekend it was , upon arrival at Elvington I was surprised to see so many people there and wondered if I would spend half the day in a queue , not to worry as at registration I was given an Itinerary which gave estimated times of drives in the vehicles of your choice , after an excellent and informative commentary drive through the circuit with one of the instructors at low speed , which gave you chance to look closely at the cone positions and the lines of turn etc , I was then directed to queue at the Ferrari post where Stewart the Ferrari 360 Modena Instructor invited the next 4 drivers to the car for a short briefing where he told us all about the car and its handling characteristics etc  again very informative in my professional opinion. Upon my turn I was directed to the Ferrari and the instructor invited my wife to the car in order to take some good photos of me outside and then inside the car  a welcome bonus as we expected no close up access to spectators . A first familiarisation lap then the instructor gave me some excellent talk through instruction in order for me to get the best out of the car SAFELY , at no point did I feel that I was out of control of the car even at speeds well in excess of 120 mph, after 3 exhilarating laps it was time to go back to the pits maybe a 4^th lap would have been just the icing on the cake but I appreciate that it would probably run the clock down . Next I cue for the Lamborghini Gallardo and don’t have to wait long before once again the Instructor invited the next few drivers over , the car was presented immaculately , as were all the other vehicles . Off we go in the Lamborghini and having already done 3 laps in the Ferrari my confidence was high and the Instructor encouraged me to make it more challenging and my speed and times definitely increased over the next few laps  again 4 laps would have been better but nevertheless the experience was amazing , the final trip of the day was in a Subaru Impreza WST high speed saloon driven as a passenger by a skilled race driver or rather I thought by an absolute nutter but still very skilful  ( joke ) an amazing demonstration in high speed car control and confidence in the vehicle .  I also purchased some photos on a disk and one in a frame for £25.00 a little pricey but certainly not a rip off , good quality photos . All in all I can certainly recommend Drivers Dream Days to anyone , from the organisation and time management on display to the professionalism of all the Instructors  and the well presented supercars .
